Extrusions

Quality extrusions require precision processes to exacting tolerances. Achieving this precision starts with quality raw material and a knowledge of the properties, heat profile, and processing guidelines for resins. Bayland is an expert in extrusions, producing extruded flexible tubing, rigid cores, soft and rigid profiles, and co-extrusions from a broad range of plastic, ranging from the standard thermoplastic resins to the more exotic engeneering plastics.

We conduct special research and development and testing of extrusion designs and formulations. Co-extrusions, where two different resins are bonded into one extrusion, require very special tooling and processes.

Southwest Quality has extensive expertise in a variety of types of molding: Conventional Runner/Ejector, Hot Manifold, Tri-Plate, Angle-Pin Side Core Pulls, Hydraulic/Air Cylinder Side Core Pulls, and Insert Molding. Routinely, we produce molded parts from the simple to the most difficult.

Secondary operations for both extruded and injection molded products include assembly, machining, and core cutting. Decorating includes hot stamping, silk screening, and pad printing.

Our in-house machine shop is well equipped with mills, lathes, and surface grinders. Our skilled machinists make all extrusion dies and sizers and maintain injection molds. Our experienced staff, state-of-the-art presses, and years of producing a wide variety of thermoplastic resins, assures you of product satisfaction.
